Marla's background includes over 20 years in public accounting with an emphasis in tax, accounting, audit and internal control structure review and analysis. A principal with the firm since its inception in 1992, she has significant experience with a wide range of businesses, including retail, real estate development, professional service, non-profit and manufacturing. Recognized for her knowledge of accounting systems and internal controls, she provides consulting, litigation support and expert testimony in these areas.

Kelly graduated from Sonoma State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management with an emphasis in Accounting. She has been working in public accounting since 2000, including managing her own practice prior to becoming a principal with Thomas, Porch & Gullickson, CPAs. Her experience includes individual, business, non-profit, trust and estate taxation, and auditing and cost accounting. She has worked with small and large companies in a variety of Sonoma County business sectors including manufacturing, wine, retail, professional service and non-profit.
Our principals are members in good standing of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, and hold current licensure with the California State Board of Accountancy, Montana Board of Accountancy, Oregon Board of Accountancy and Colorado Board of Accountancy. In addition, our firm participates in the AICPA’s peer review program and in their report dated November 2006, we received an unqualified opinion.
